The organizers of the Game Developer Conference, Think Services and Connection Events, announce that entries to attend the second edition just open. It will be held from 23 to 24 June in the Defense, Paris.

During the two days you'll have access to 50 lectures presented by national and international developers. Topics discussed will be: programming, game design, visual arts, production, management.

This is another derivative of madness from the Casual Gaming. Apple began to offer alternatives to game development through its Software Development Kit for its Iphone. The presence of a tactile interface offers new opportunities, however, there are still some problems, not least.

For starters, what about the battery. You know, play puts a strain on electronic components, which needs more and more independently. Already that the autonomy of the Iphone is not terrible, so if we add games, it must be recharged every day!

I do not know if you've already seen the future Thursday Battlefield Heroes, but it perfectly fulfilled its marketing function, which is to attract a maximum of players in the bosom of the high license to Electronic Arts.

To conclude, one can simply say that this game, in addition to friendly air, is an excellent marketing strategy from Electronic Arts, which I think will attract new people to license Battlefield. The cost of this "campaign" marketing will not be too high, visibility is very important, and this campaign is much more creative than the banal advertisements. The game is developed by DICE, and normally released during the summer of 2008 for download free and legal.
